Abstract

Some azobarbiturate andbenzylidenebarbituratecompoundswereprepared.The structuralchemistry wasinves-
tigated based on different spectral and pH-metric methods. The tautomeric equilibria were explained. The electronic
character of the substituents affects the mode of dissociation of the organic compounds.
